To the elf that had passed on the right,
"Where are you all going with such looks of fright?"
"The peace of this land reeks of fraud. The Giants are no longer friends with God.
It was exposed by a child, who whispered so mild,
'Will you play with me Giant?' Who crossed his arms, let out a 'HUMPH' and shot the young one a glare so defiant!"
Saddened, the boy gazed in wonder... a Giant not kind?...  could it be a blunder?
Since there was light, tales have been told, of the Gentle Giants and their hearts of gold.
Never a soul did wilt in their presence.
And never could a child provoke such a grievance.
"This just can't be. I won't believe it. The ones you accuse have always fought for whats right! What you assume would surely cause plight. But please, does one Giant's offense warrant such arrest?"
"Your heart is pure and your thoughts are noble, I dispute thee with much sorrow. It's rue the Giants have been our trusted guardians, but destruction only needs one to make it's alliance. Go. Tell your loved ones. Peace's reign has ended here, it's successor will surely be Fear."
The boy stood in his tracks, his arms hung heavy, watching grim faced elves with paces steady, turn their backs on what his whole life had believed in. Threatening the future of all who lived after him.
"If one creature can wreak such havoc, is it possible for one creature to bring hope back?"
He collapsed on his knees, "I should have stayed in bed." His innocent mind could not comprehend the ramifications of what lie ahead.
